Lights in Warsaw

December in most of the major cities is probably the best time in the year for night photography. Well-known places, which you have seen on hundreds of photos, are gaining new charm, thanks to Christmas lights and decorations.

This is my small set from Warsaw, Poland. Photos has been taken in Wilanow and Old Town.

My first portrait in 2015

It was quite high. I think there is no higher point in 150 miles radius. And it was quite cold. -8C on the car park about 2 miles away from the monastery. Upstairs -10C easy! This church tower have it’s history. It has been destroyed by Austrians in 1914 during World War I and just now rebuild. Entry 5PLN / 1,20 Euro / 1GBP, what a bargain for such a great view (it is 360 degree but you need to squeez a bit). It was very good day, I’m going to have so much fun working on the landscapes I made.

My sunny afternoon

Today I went to Kielce and having 2h spare time I decided to take few pictures. Weather and light were fantastic, so I came back with more than few nice photos. This is first set of them, I hope you will enjoy them. Nighty night!

And how is your Christmas break?

Hi all,

currently I’m in Poland and I’m trying to make most of it by testing my new camera in some extreme conditions. Snow, minus temperatures, even today I broke (by accident of course!) 3 bottles of beer and my 5D MKII had very expensive shower. This camera is great and it was my best purchase in last 12 months! Check out some shots from my hometown and area surrounding it. I hope you will enjoy them!
